Female rabbis appears to be a very recent reform in Judaism. First female rabbi was ordained in 1935, but she was murdered in Auschwitz 1944. Only since "1972, when rabbinical schools began ordaining women, women rabbis have transformed Jewish life around the world."(Source) "Since the 1970s, over 1,200 Jewish women have been ordained as rabbis" (Source)
This is wonderful! Christian churches can still learn from it!
