The Cult of Costco: How It Built An Empire Of $1.50 Hot Dogs
- Since Covid-19, the Supreme Pizza was removed. I complained to Costco about it, but to no avail.
- The sliced Provolone cheese 2 pounds was removed. I also complained about this.
- The humus is now only available as a humus combined with pine nuts. Previously it used to be plain humus plus this luxury, pricier variant.

The blessings of Amazon
The online Walmart is so amazing! It encourages people to become a couch potato (just kidding) or do better things than spending time to go shopping.
I order only very infrequently from Amazon like once or twice a year, but this may change going forward.
I ordered four very different products four days ago. The pricing of the products was very competitive if not cheaper. Selecting these products online was a breeze. Since I do not like to pay for shipping fees, my delivery was scheduled for 6 days later.
Today, the shipping already arrived at my door step, two days earlier then Amazon initially scheduled.
At 1:19 PM I received an email that my shipment was delivered. I ran to the door to thank the delivery person, but he/she and the Amazon truck was already gone!
