Another hero reported defying the coward father/son mass killers at Bondi Beach

Good news! Bravo! Hope and pray for his recovery! This makes him the sixth hero regarding this horrible massacre according to my count (I have blogged about all of these heroes under label heroism).

"Police officer Jack Hibbert, shot in the head during the Bondi Beach attack, has been released from the hospital in what his family calls a miracle. The 22-year-old lost vision in one eye but continued helping people after being shot."

Gefen Bitton, Israeli who tried to stop one of the Bondi Beach coward mass killers, in coma in critical condition

Hope and pray this hero will survive and recover! There are now at least four known heros who tried to stop the father/son coward mass killers.

Apparently Gefen Bitton helped the Syrian hero Ahmed al-Ahmed to jump one of the coward mass killers and disarm him. 

"... Bitton was seriously wounded while trying to assist and stop the attackers. The man in his 30s works as a garage door installer. Although he had initially managed to escape the danger, he chose to return to the scene upon realising what was happening.  ...

Australian media reported that Bitton has undergone complex surgeries and remains in the intensive care unit. His condition is described as serious but stable, and he is suffering from significant internal wounds. ...

A breakthrough came when friends analysing footage from the scene recognised the man in the red shirt beside Ahmed al-Ahmed. Bitton’s clothing was recalled by the friend who had been with him earlier, and his father confirmed the identification. Bitton had fled but then ran back toward the attacker to help. When Ahmed al-Ahmed bravely jumped at the gunman, Bitton was beside him. He was shot, fell, and was shot again. ..."

I bet Israel and the Jews will reward this man handsomely!

Will Ahmed al-Ahmed be entered into the Righteous Among the Nations at Yad Vashem next to e.g. Oskar Schindler? I think he deserves it. This would be such a strong signal not least to the Arab/Muslim world! Of course, the man and his background/motives will be vetted etc.
