Suicide bomber kills 46 girls, women were among 53 killed in Kabul school bombing

Who in their right mind would attack a school with children students like this?

Hope this will be a wake up call to all Afghan people! Stop the violence in this war torn country! Practice tolerance! Refuse extremism!

"It was Friday, a weekend day in Afghanistan when the founder of Kaaj Education Institution received the call. A suicide bomber had attacked a class full of students at the Dasht-e-Barchi branch in Kabul. 53 students were dead, over 100 had been injured. Reaching the scene, Mukhtar Modabber realized the extent of the damage. “I saw a lot of dead people. One was my sister. We tried to move the bodies, but there were no ambulances, we did it all by ourselves.” ...
According to the United Nations mission in Afghanistan, at least 35 people were killed and 82 wounded in the attack, which targeted students as they sat mock tests in preparation for their university entrance exams. ..."

Suicide Bomber Attack On Pakistan Church

Headlines Of The Day

When I started the day today (9/22/2013) this headline or similar headlines were shown prominently in my web browser. The headlines did not say a Christian church and they did not say a temple or a mosque or other house of worship.

Hiding Christianity

You had to read at least two or three lines into these articles to get the confirmation that it was indeed a Christian church that was brutally attacked. Why is it that Western media dare not say a Christian church? This would have nothing to do with stirring up emotions.

Hiding The Taliban

From reading into the USA Today article, one quickly learns that the Taliban claimed responsibility for this event. Why is this not mentioned in the headline. There was not enough space?

Further Decline Of Professionalism

I thought it was a professional standard to capture in the headline the essence of what the article is about. These headlines are more about concealment or cowardness.

Expression Of Moral Relativism?

Are these headlines a sign of moral relativism? USA Today also reported in the same article in the first and second paragraph (emphasis added):
“A wing of the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the bombing in the city of Peshawar, saying it would continue to target non-Muslims until the United States stopped drone attacks in the country's remote tribal region.
The latest drone strike came Sunday, when missiles hit a pair of compounds in the North Waziristan tribal area, killing six suspected militants, Pakistani intelligence officials said.”

OK, I get it! We bombed them, so they understandably bomb us in return.

Unfortunately, there are huge differences in using suicide killers to deliberately and indiscriminately bomb an innocent minority (incl. children, elders, women) living in a hostile environment coming out of church and targeted drone attacks.
