Artist Claudette Johnson – 'Giving Space to The Presence of a Black Woman'
Racism presented by the British Tate Gallery! What the heck does it matter what the skin color or gender of the artist is! Has modern, contemporary art become so empty or vacuous that skin color and gender is now the subject! Very annoying!

Leonora Carrington – Britain's Lost Surrealist
Very interesting! So Mexico had around the same time two well known female artists, i.e. Leonora Carrington and Frida Kahlo. Although, I have to admit I probably never heard of Leonora Carrington before.
However, if you watch this video and if you read up a little bit on these two ladies you get the impression these two women never met in Mexico although both ladies lived in Mexico City. Weird or shall we say surprising!

How John Singer Sargent Painted Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose
Very recommendable! I don't remember ever having seen this painting by John Singer Sargent! Very impressive painting completed in twilight!
