Update: Today, I have already received two spam emails in my inbox and only 14 hours of the day have passed.
About every day now I receive one or more obviously suspicious emails with an attachment in my inbox.
The Gmail spam filter used to be very good until recently. I wonder what happened!
I am even a paying subscription customer of Google!

Today, this message was in my Gmail spam folder. I get about a dozen or more of similar messages per day from Google Scholar, because I follow certain scholars like Kyunghyun Cho. By the way, Kyunghyun Cho is a top ML & AI researcher with over 160,000 lifetime citations.
I don't remember ever having seen this happening before that a Google Scholar alert email about new research papers by a scholar that I follow ends up in the Gmail spam folder.
In the past two days or so I received at least three telephone calls that went straight into my voice mail without the phone ringing. I believe, the phone number was the same.
These calls are not listed on my smartphone's call history at all, so I can not block this telephone number. Great!
The content of the very short voice messages was pretty much the same. We are trying to reach you. We will try again. Please call this number (xxx) xxx-xxxx! As if this call was important or urgent!
My provider is TMobile. Why is TMobile allowing this to happen?
