Hi-tech heist: Reclaiming stolen art in museums digitally

Lousy BBC again! Repeating this ludicrous demagoguery of stolen art! Without curation and museums some of this art would perhaps not even exist anymore! All cultures, not only the West has "stolen" art. Some of the art was actually purchased.

Otherwise, the idea by this young man to digitally record famous artworks like from the British Museum and digitally repatriate them to their location of origin is interesting.

Russia: The Empire Strikes Back

Recommendable! However, a BBC documentary that is very dubious and much to apologetic with regards to Putin the Terrible!

The sound quality is also quite annoying with about 30-40% being monaural!

Seven Ages of Britain By David Dimbleby

This seven part series from 2010 by David Dimbleby is very recommendable! Great narrative, great selection of artifacts and so on.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find a higher quality YouTube video of the 7th part of this series. In the last part of his series, David Dimbleby voices plenty of criticism. I suspect it is because of his outspokenness that the seventh part of his series is not available as easy and in a similar high quality as the other six parts.
