True gender equality is not achieved as long as women are treated differently than men when it comes to military service! Anything else is cherry picking and delusional!
To register women for military draft is the least that can be done towards gender equality regarding this subject!

Ohio GOP governor vetoes bill that bans gender-affirming care, transgender athletes in girls sports
Some Republicans are confused! Very confused! Some are plainly RINOs!
He is one of a very few GOP governor to do something like it.
"DeWine has previously said the issue of trans sports participation should be handled by athletic associations rather than the government." (Source) It is a good point, but why did he not sufficiently influence the Ohio legislature to separate the issues of gender affirming care and transgender athletes in two bills.
Gender affirming care is one those most horrific euphemisms of our times! It stands for e.g. double mastectomy or castration!
When parents, perhaps out of ulterior motives, subject their children for no good reason to gender affirming care it should be called child abuse!
When it happens to girls and women outside of Western countries it is usually quickly and loudly condemned as female genital mutilation!
Gender dysphoria is largely one of those human fads and follies that come and go!

Is the GOP making a huge mistake regarding the presidential candidate for 2024?
The GOP is like a dear in the headlights almost as if waiting for a crash and burn of Trump that may never happen. But should it happen what will the GOP do?
Or is the GOP passively waiting for the senile, demented and corrupt 46th President to implode, resign, or be indicted/impeached? That's a gamble, unless they know something we don't. The 46th President still has some strong support and defenders. This may change quickly once he is indicted or impeached, but until then ...
Trump is far from being an ideal candidate! He is controversial. He appears arrogant at times. He is blunt and so on ...
Trump's reelection campaign is very populist so far, probably offending moderate voters.
Why are there no other, perhaps younger GOP contenders coming out? E.g. Youngkin, Noem. DeSantis made a splash, but that was all so far. Now they are talking about his wife is trying to resurrect him.
Current high polling numbers and lead over contenders may not be enough to win in November 2024.
Trump will be 82 years old at the end of his second term, if he is reelected. Will he still be fit at the end of his term? Welcome to gerontocracy!

Is this just a publicity stunt or was Fox indeed so stupid to send Tucker Carlson such a cease and desist notice? Was it not already reported that the ratings and viewership of Fox has gone down significantly since his show was taken off the air?
