This is not an apple to apples comparison, but skin color ideology bias! This is disgusting racist research!

What about white compared to brown or black Hispanic homeowners?

If economic circumstances and location of residence of these homeowners irrespective of skin color had been the same or very similar in this study, then probably no significant "racial differences" nor "racial gap" were found.

"We show that higher rates of distressed home sales (i.e., foreclosures and short sales) among Black and Hispanic homeowners severely reduce realized housing returns for these groups—in particular, to a level below that realized by White homeowners. Yet absent financial distress, houses owned by minorities do not appreciate at substantially slower rates than houses owned by non minorities. Racial differences [???] in liquidity and income stability, which are imperfectly observed by lenders, are important determinants of differences in distress. Policies that prevent foreclosure among distressed minorities can mitigate the racial gap [???] in returns."

Why this obsession with skin color in Western countries and other parts of the world?

The skin color of a human being is about the most irrelevant fact about or characteristic of a human being conceivable! This is the naked truth!

It is comparable to the very crude and primitive dichotomous thinking in categories like we versus them or friend and foe or black and white.

Thus, most references to skin color are an easily identifiable form of or an attempt of indoctrination with propaganda and demagoguery! 

For much too long, human progress has been  significantly impeded by the frequent abuse of skin color for ideological purposes in human history! Good riddance skin color ideology!

Thus, too many members of the so called elite and many intellectuals can thus be easily identified as stupid, lazy or dishonest or all three of them combined!

It is intellectually extremely lazy if not very primitive to dumb down complicated matters or subjects to a differences between two groups of individuals identified by their skin color (e.g. white v. black). Only fools (terrible simplificateurs) try to explain the world this banal way and feel empowered by their deeply flawed understanding of the world!

About the relation to a sense of supremacy or superiority: If history is any guide, then each major skin color (white, black, yellow) has been exploited to assert supremacy over the humans with other skin colors. Each of the major skin color was abused to claim superiority over the others often for different, but implausible reasons.

Widespread Neo Racism in Western countries at the end of the first quarter of the 21st century

For someone like me born only 16 years after World War II ended, it is quite shocking to realize that a considerable number of individuals among the elites of Western countries are very busy in public discourse and institutions to spread and dictate neo racism! 

These elites take us back to the medieval ages or pre-enlightenment age! As if we have not learnt much from communism, fascism, and Nazism in the 20th century!

Was not World War II supposed to be the ultimate culmination of racism for eternity in human history? Holocaust, antisemitism, Japanese superiority etc.! Never again they said! Well, it took only about 77 years for racism to return!

Of course, there were numerous regional conflicts outside of Western countries since 1945 were some form of racism could be observed often affecting ethnic minorities.

Skin color ideology (neo racism) comes in so many forms (CRT, DEI, white supremacy, decolonization, Black Lives Matter etc.). How many Western businesses have openly succumbed to this ideology? How many of the elected representatives are guilty?

This neo racism is also in violation of the old principle that two wrongs do not make a right! These demagogues deliberately and falsely choose the lesser evil!

The return of such viscous and heinous racism in Western countries is quite disturbing! Not to mention all the daily indoctrination, brainwashing, and reeducation that comes with this demagoguery!
