Top Fauci aide at NIAID indicted on charges of concealing, falsifying records with respect to Covid-19

I am afraid Anthony Fauci will get away with his own criminal acts given his high age (about 85 years old)!

What about the lab leak hypothesis?

"David Morens, a former top National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases official, was indicted Tuesday on allegations that he concealed records from Freedom of Information Act requests.

Trump administration officials said in a legal filing that Morens hid and falsified records to undermine debate about the origins of the virus that spurred the Covid-19 pandemic — and received kickbacks for doing so, including wine and offers of future meals at high-end restaurants. Morens was a senior adviser to former NIAID Director Anthony Fauci, who is not named directly in the indictment. ..."

Hacker who allegedly carried out cyberattacks for China is extradited to US from Italy

Good news! What was that fool doing in Italy?

There should be more indictments and arrests of cyber criminals like him!

"A man accused of carrying out cyberattacks on behalf of the Chinese government has been extradited to the United States, and faces over a decade in prison if convicted.

Last year, the U.S. Justice Department accused Xu Zewei of working as a contractor for the Chinese Ministry of State Security to conduct a series of cyberattacks. Prosecutors alleged Xu and co-conspirator Zhang Yu targeted several U.S. universities in early 2020 to steal research related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two also allegedly hacked thousands of email servers running Microsoft Exchange beginning March 2021, as part of an “indiscriminate” campaign attributed to a Chinese-backed hacking group known as Hafnium, and later Silk Typhoon.

Xu was arrested in Italy last year at the request of U.S. authorities. His lawyer in Italy, Simona Candido, told TechCrunch that Xu was extradited to the United States on Saturday, and that he is now in detention in Houston, Texas. ..."

European police agency Europol sends emails and letters to 75,000 people asking them to stop DDoS attacks

What took so long! For the past several decades there should have been more aggressive law enforcement action against cyber crime like DDOS attacks!

"A coalition of global law enforcement agencies have sent emails to more than 75,000 alleged cybercriminals who paid for a service to launch cyberattacks that can knock websites offline.

On Thursday, Europol announced the coordinated operation against several distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) for-hire services, which allow criminals to launch cyberattacks without needing to have any hacking skills, nor the need to run their own infrastructure.

Part of the law enforcement action — dubbed Operation PowerOFF — included Europol sending warning emails and letters to more than 75,000 people who are suspected of using these DDoS-for-hire services.

Europol said it obtained information about the alleged cybercriminals by raiding and seizing servers associated with these services, allowing the police to identify their registered users.

The action also resulted in four arrests, the takedown of 53 domains, and police executing 24 search warrants. ..."

US homicides are way down in 2025

Good news! Thanks to President Trump?

"The homicide rate fell last year to at least a 125-year low, based on projected final-year data. Theories to explain the historic drop range from an influx of federal funding to stepped-up police enforcement, along with longer-term societal shifts, like reduced alcohol consumption and increased time spent alone."

DEA & FBI Raid Texas Judge’s Office — 963 Pounds of Drugs & 117 Arrests SHOCK America, 117 arrests across seven states

Good news! Very recommendable! This judge also had protected witnesses killed!
"The FBI and DEA just executed one of the most significant takedowns in Texas history, exposing a level of corruption that terrified investigators. What began as a surveillance operation on a suspicious judge in Cameron County unraveled a massive network that linked the American court system directly to the Gulf Cartel.

In this video, we break down the raid on Judge Abel Limus, the discovery of a 120-meter tunnel under the border, and the chilling "Ledger" that connected a sitting judge to the execution of federal agents. From the 117 arrests across seven states to the seizure of nearly 1,000 pounds of narcotics, this is the true story of how federal agents dismantled a system that had been sold out from the inside."

Phoenix City Council Votes To Hold Homeless Accountable For Crimes and prohibit certain behaviors in public. Really!

Good news, but is this not self evident or common sense that homeless individuals are accountable?

What was the situation before the council vote one wonders?

"The Phoenix City Council approved several ordinances that will hold the homeless accountable for crimes committed in public parks and spaces.

The council approved ordinances prohibiting certain behaviors most often done by the homeless.

One ordinance puts more restrictions on public parks: no more entering areas closed to the public, drinking liquor, smoking, bathing, or obstructing guests or amenities.

Park rangers or police officers will be allowed to issue a trespass notice lasting one year, and the court may impose community restitution, education, or treatment programs. ...

The council also approved, unanimously, an ordinance increasing the punishment for remaining on road medians and obstructing traffic. Rather than requiring law enforcement to give a warning for the first violation, law enforcement may issue a civil traffic offense amounting to a class one misdemeanor.  ..."
