Gender dysphoria is indeed a very dubious medical diagnosis! Reminds e.g. of mania/fad or quackery or ideologically motivated medicine!

Schauerlich, dass sich die Genderideologie auch in D. verbreitet hat, aber typisch Bananenrepublik D.!

Darf ich als Bürger auch selbst bestimmen welches Geschlecht ich einer anderen Person anhänge ohne dafür belangt zu werden? Vermutlich nicht. Denn die Genderideologie ist sehr einseitig! 

Die offensichtlich Benachteiligung von Frauen stört nicht! Wo bleiben die sonst so aktiven Emanzen, wenn man(n) sie braucht!

Finland was among the first countries to adopt the “Dutch protocol” for pediatric gender medicine, which prescribes—in certain restricted cases—the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to treat adolescent gender dysphoria. By 2015, however, Finnish gender specialists, including Kaltiala, were noticing that most of their patients did not match the profile of those treated in the Netherlands and did not meet the Dutch protocol’s relatively strict eligibility requirements for drug treatments. ...
the Dutch protocol requires patients to have gender dysphoria that begins before puberty and intensifies in adolescence. It also requires them to have no serious co-occurring mental health problems, to undergo at least six months of psychotherapy, and to have the support of their family for hormonal treatments.

Gender dysphoria ist eine von Propaganda angetriebene Ideologie und quasi Modeerscheinung! Der z.B. rasante, falsche, und problematische Anstieg von diagnostizierten Fällen in den USA wurde von mir hier auf Englisch behandelt.

Like too many kids are too quickly and too often diagnosed with ADHD or Autism Spectrum diseases, so are gender dysphoria diagnoses and treatments abused by the medical profession. Recommendable! What is gender dysphoria (previously known as gender identity disorder) and how many children actually suffer from it? In my opinion this disorder is more fabricated than real! The more disorders they can create, the better the business for psychologists and psychiatrists! Cui bono! 

Of course, the LGBTQ lobby wants more transgender people. The more, the merrier and the more influence! Cui bono!

To apply puberty-blocking and cross-sex hormones to children is a very serious matter!

Further, the ruling specifically establishes that it is highly unlikely, if at all possible, for an individual under the age of 16 to give informed consent to this treatment. Just read this interesting account by a transgender person with remorse.

Some Remarks

1. I speculate, for some people to become a transgender person is like to reach for The Last Frontier
2. I speculate, for some people to become a transgender person is like grasping for a straw or a remedy to some personal issue
3. The transgender issue has certainly markings of a fad
4. It appears that a large proportion of transgendered people have a high prevalence of comorbid psychiatric disorders (e.g. major depressive episodes, dissociative disorders)  or drug addiction before transgender treatment. It appears there is no hard evidence that these comorbid disorders are caused by gender dysphoria
5. It appears that there is little genetic or biological evidence to justify transgender treatments
6. It appears some doctors have been infected with the transgender bug rushing patients into transgender treatment
7. It appears that doctors and parents are too quick to apply transgender treatment to children without further, careful evaluation

Just saw this article in the National Review: “Trans Powerlifter: I’m ‘Still Deciding’ Whether to Compete as a Man or a Woman”. Then, there is of course Bruce Jenner (his possible motto: The show must go on! (just kidding)).

Men Competing In Female Sports Or Vice Versa

Would not be easier for let’s say less than top notch male athlete to compete in female sport events even at Olympic Games to win and become famous? Or what if Usain Bolt decides to change his gender and compete against women any time soon?

Vice versa how about transgendered female jockeys in the Kentucky Derby and so on.

Who remembers the controversies surrounding female Olympic athletes coming from the former USSR or communist block countries who were accused of taking hormones that made them look like men?

Has the time finally come that men and women compete directly in sport events as well? E.g. at the famous Wimbledon Tennis Tournament? At least this would remove any equal pay issues or would it not?
