International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea rules green house gases are anthropogenic marine pollution. Really!
In very recent times, we have witnessed so unelected so called international courts to become rogue and/or like kangaroo courts running amok! Here is another case! I blogged here about the other ridiculous decision against Israel by the International Court of Justice.
It seems to be very clear that these so called international courts have exceeded their authority and mandate and have become politicized!
"Small island nations have hailed a ruling by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea that greenhouse gases are a form of marine pollution.
The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) is an independent judicial body that adjudicates maritime disputes that come under the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
On Tuesday, ITLOS ruled on a 2022 request from 9 small Pacific and Caribbean island nations to consider greenhouse gas emissions as a form of pollution, which is regulated by the Convention. ...
In a unanimous opinion, the ITLOS found “anthropogenic [created by human activity] greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere constitute pollution of the marine environment”. ...
It means 168 nations that are parties to the Convention, which includes Australia, have “the specific obligations to take all necessary measures to prevent, reduce and control marine pollution from anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions and to endeavour to harmonise their policies in this connection.” ..."

International Court Of Justice orders Israel to "immediately halt its military offensive, and any other action in the Rafah Governorate"
Incredible! What a kangaroo court! I think, Western countries need to seriously review their support etc. for this court! Something is wrong!
Did this kangaroo court ever order Hamas to stop building these tunnels in Gaza? Oh, there was no plaintiff!

Tesla Ordered to Pay More Than $130 Million in Damages to Black Former Worker
Is this not extremely excessive for only a single person who was allegedly subjected for only 9 consecutive months to a "racially hostile environment" at the company! It seems absurd! This was a federal trial with 8 jury members? I hope, appeal is available to the company. I hope, the company will continue to fight this order and will appeal!
Ah, it was a San Francisco federal court! Is this some form of progressive justice? A kangaroo court executed a show trial?
In my opinion, already a $1 million order would be on the border of excessive in such a case!
"... Diaz’s lawsuit alleged that employees drew swastikas and left racist graffiti and drawings around the Tesla plant. [Did he draw these graffiti himself?] He also alleged that employees often used the “N-word” [where these employees black American? Quite possible!] and other racist epithets. ...
The jury awarded Diaz $6.9 million in damages for emotional distress and $130 million in punitive damages, according to his attorney, Lawrence Organ of the California Civil Rights Law Group. ...
Private [mandatory] arbitration often lets companies avoid costly damages or commit to major corrective action. Tesla rarely takes a big hit in arbitration, though it did pay a $1 million award in May in a case brought by another ex-contractor that was similar to Diaz’s. ...

Even though Mr. Diaz now complains about racial harassment at Fremont, at the time he said he was being harassed, he recommended to his son and daughter – while they were all living together in the same home – that they work at Tesla with him. ..."
