Prominent Rock band tolerated transgender female employee with male genitalia sexually harassing female crew

No comment! Is this only about money? LGBTQ individuals are just too human!

36 year old female oil field engineer working for Schlumberger in Texas claims she was sexually harassed at work

Are we to believe this woman automatically?

There is little doubt that historically this industry is probably rougher than many other industries! She knew from the beginning what she was getting into!

Sounds like the typical narrative! A multi-million dollar lawsuit incentive!

"Jessica Cheatham said her dream of working as an oil field engineer turned into a nightmare [???] on rigs managed by Houston service giant SLB.

Among the indignities she said she suffered working for the company formerly known as Schlumberger, Cheatham claims a colleague training her threatened to bend her over and “spank” her if she failed an assignment, adding, “And you’ll like it.” 

The allegation is among dozens of such claims in a federal sexual harassment suit wrapping up this week in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. Cheatham, 36, claims in her multimillion-dollar lawsuit that SLB failed to shield her from rampant sexual harassment and retaliated against her when she reported it.

The case, being heard by a jury of five women and three men, offers rare insight into what women can endure while working in the male-dominated oil patch. [???] ..."

Virginia Giuffre and the Statute of Limitations for sex crimes

Claims of sexual harassment, other sex crimes, or rape are often very difficult to prove in the court of law especially if the incident dates back years.

What are actually the statute of limitations for such claims. I have only cursory followed the allegations against Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, but it appears in such high profile cases and others the statutes of limitations have no limitations. I noticed this again and again. We are told, we have to believe these females claiming to be victims of sex crimes..

Most of Ms. Giuffre's claims were filed many years after the alleged incidents occurred.

Today, I read most of the Wikipedia entry for Virginia Giuffre (born 1983). She is married since 2002, so I presume all her sexual trafficking and related sex crime crime claims date back to before her marriage. She was reportedly associated with Mr. Eppstein between 2000-2002. 

Her life and deeds suggest that she is in some ways dubious. E.g. was she really so innocent or did she seek if not exploit these environments? E.g. was she perhaps a recruiter? Is she an opportunist?

We learn following surprising things about her from Wikipedia:

  1. She is an activist for female victims of sex crimes
  2. She signed at least one very lucrative non disclosure agreement
  3. She "from the age of seven, was molested by a close family friend"
  4. She went from "an abusive situation, to being a runaway, to living in foster homes"
  5. "She lived on the streets at age 13 before getting abused by a 65-year-old sex trafficker, Ron Eppinger, in Miami. Giuffre lived with Eppinger for approximately 6 months." She did not run away this time.
  6. "In March 2005, while Giuffre was still establishing her family in Australia, the Palm Beach Police Department began investigating Epstein after a 14-year-old girl and her parents reported his behavior.  The girl described being recruited by a female classmate from her high school to give Epstein a massage at his mansion in exchange for money, wherein he subsequently molested her"
Will Ms. Giuffre come out with sex crime allegations against Donald Trump next after Alan Dershowitz  and Prince Andrew? I would not be surprised: "Her father worked as a maintenance manager at the Mar-a-Lago property owned by Donald Trump, and also helped Giuffre obtain a job there.", "In the summer of 2000, Giuffre first met Ghislaine Maxwell when working as a spa attendant at Donald Trump's private Mar-a-Lago club while reading a book about massage therapy."

P.S. I do little doubt that Ms. Giuffre is probably a troubled woman and needs help and treatment.

The stereotype of sexual harassment

Most cases of sexual harassment automatically assume it is male on female harassment! What a stereotype! What a gender injustice!

Sexual harassment is plagued by ambiguity and vagueness! Sexual harassment victims we are told must be believed and are credible no matter how long ago the incident happened (Me Too)!

When women sexually harass men it is often accepted if not even welcomed by men. Chivalry and gallantry spring eternal! The physically stronger sex fears little from the weaker sex or so it may seem. It is thus immensely underreported! Such female behavior is usually called the art of seduction or tantalizing! Only if a woman persistently stalks the same man in a way that make the man or his female companion feel uncomfortable etc., we may see a sexual harassment complaint.

When women sexually harass men then it is often about to get a better job or to get ahead or for some favor. Kamala Harris, now Vice President, is possibly a case in point.

How often does actually a female on a male sexual harassment precede the same male on same female sexual harassment? We don't know.

Sexual harassment is also typically associated with misogyny. While misandry is almost an unknown term to most people. However, there a quite a few women who harbor feelings of misandry.

To some extent sexual harassment is in the eye of the beholder. Sensitivity and indoctrination play a role. Is e.g. a mere brief touch on the shoulder between two strangers of the opposite sex a case of sexual harassment? Some women even bring this kind of behavior to the attention of authorities or male acquaintances. Other women may just want to get even with a male they don't like etc. In recent decades sexual harassment claims by women were prominently used as a political instrument to harm a male politician, judge etc.

Last, but not least, Jesus in his famous Sermon on the Mount declared: “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
So Jesus never saw a woman looking lustfully at a man? Perhaps, the son of god was not all seeing and just a human being.

The political news are swirling daily with new sexual harassment allegations against male politicians or political candidates. These seem to be the latest choice of weapons in our current political environment.


What is being exploited here is that all males are potential sexual predators as the powerful and influential feminist lobby will have us believe. Many men and women nowadays are gullible to this kind of nonsense. If you repeat a lie often enough ...


Flimsy At Best


Most of the latest sexual harassment accusations are so flimsy and so many years if not decades old and they seem to be brought forward just when it is most convenient. That any public media are uncritically and repeatedly running with those accusations is one of the many disturbing signs of our times.


Sexual Harassment Has Been Addressed For Over 30 Years Now


We have now a discussion of sexual harassment in the workplace and elsewhere going on in the U.S. for over 30 years. Laws have been passed against it decades ago. Law enforcement have made great progress over the decades.


About The Female Accusers


Women that do not report or do not document a serious incidence of sexual harassment to the proper authorities at the time the event happened are irresponsible.

Those women, who failed to report a serious incidence of sexual harassment, have knowingly and willingly jeopardized other women to become future victims by the same perpetrator. This responsibility lies with each woman who was sexually harassed or assaulted.

Federal Sex Discrimination Harassment Against Universities

The media recently reported about a 31 page letter by the Obama Justice department to the President of the University of Montana Missoula, Montana dated 5/9/2013.

Excerpts and comments from this letter (emphasis added):
1.       “Another complaint did not result in an equitable resolution because a University official, upon reinvestigation of the complaint, used the “clear and convincing evidence” standard in contravention of the Dear Colleague Letter’s directive to use the “preponderance of the evidence” standard to evaluate the complaint. The official’s analysis of the evidence found both the complainant and accused student to be credible and expressed a belief that this was “a case of differing perceptions and interpretations of the events in question.” However, other parts of the analysis questioned the complainant’s credibility.” (p. 17)
[The Feds are directing that a weak standard should be used to evaluate such a complaint?]
2.       ”Based on the United States’ analysis of twenty-three sexual assault and ten sexual harassment complaints to the University in the past three school years, interviews and emailed responses, some of which included older allegations of sexual assault, the United States determined that the University had not fully eliminated the hostile educational environment based on sex.” (p. 23)
[Nota Bene these are only complaints not proven cases of such conduct. Nota Bene that there were a total of 33 complaints in 3 school years at a university campus of about 15,000 students. This certainly means that sexual misconduct is rampant.]
3.       “The evidence established that substantial numbers of female students at the University reported incidents of rape or sexual assault, which were sufficiently serious that they interfered with or limited their ability to participate in or benefit from the school’s program.” (p. 23)
[Again (see above), these are only a few reported not confirmed incidents. The “evidence established” nothing other than that a few incidents were reported.]
4.       “To the University’s credit, beginning in December 2011, it proactively implemented a number of campus-wide steps to address the hostile environment created by the sexual assaults, prevent further harassment, and remedy the effects of the harassment on the affected students.” (p. 24)
[Just amazing how such a small number of reported incidents creates already a “hostile environment”. This is baloney!]
5.       “Conclusion … 3. [University to] take sufficient effective action to fully eliminate a hostile environment based on sex, prevent its recurrence, and address its effects;” (p. 30)
[Since it is impossible to fully eliminate what the Feds define as a “hostile environment” this is just preposterous.]

I did not read all 31 pages in its entirety, but I believe this letter does nowhere mention whether any police investigations or disciplinary measures or even any prosecutions occurred against the alleged perpetrators of these reported incidents. This is mindboggling!

Extremely One Sided – A Modern Sorcerer Hunt

What used to be superstitious witch hunts of the past has become a modern, sophisticated sorcerer hunt.

Sexual harassment/assault and hostile environment as understood by the Feds is extremely biased in favor of the victim that makes a respective allegation. The presumption of innocence is suspended. Mere allegations suffice to create a “hostile environment”.

The legal terms involved here are particularly prone to ambiguity and interpretation. Often there are no witnesses to the incident or allegations.

Male college athletes or fraternity members are nowadays considered sexual predators and hazing is the norm.

Some Thoughts

If I were an enrolled male student at a university that subjects me to or targets me for sexual assault/harassment training etc. I would refuse to participate. This is sex harassment and an insult to my intelligence and integrity. I would not even select such a university.

It is unbelievable how the federal government comes out swinging a big stick against a university based on such a few reports of ‘sexual assault and harassment’ and to treat this university campus as if it is crime infested, bad neighborhood. This is way too much!

Instead of subjecting the whole university and student body to onerous guidelines, training, etc. the Fed

I do not understand why so few universities in the US decline to accept any federal money, federal student loans etc. to keep this outrageous federal intrusion away from their campuses. Maybe there are more such universities out there, than I realize, but I suspect they are smaller and lesser know like Hillsdale College.

Something About Jacqueline Cochran

Who?

This is, I believe, my third blog about outstanding women in history (see here, here, and here). Jacqueline Cochran was a contemporary of Amelia Earhart, but it seems to me her history is much less known than Earhart’s, although Jacqueline’s biography as an aviator is very impressive. For brevity sake, I will not cover here her biography in detail.

Without Civil Rights Act, Sexual Harassment, And Hostile Environment

Her career did not depend on the infamous sex discrimination passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 or the obscene legal theories of Sexual Harassment and Hostile environment created in the 1980s/90s basically subjecting all US businesses to federal government oversight.

I and my colleagues recently had to undergo a one hour-long required Sexual Harassment/Hostile Environment training at my current employer. I found it offensive and a harassing.

How did women like Jacqueline Cochran have such an amazing career without big government or feminism? Is it because she married a rich man, i.e. Floyd Odlum? Well this would be a sexist opinion, right? But it was somewhat similar to Amelia Earhart & George P. Putnam, who were befriended with Jacqueline Cochrane and her husband. On the other hand it was her husband who recognized Jacqueline’s talents and intelligence and supported her career. She did probably more for women in this world than any of US Congress legislative and US Supreme Court judicial excesses.
