Altadena’s Black community disproportionately affected by Eaton Fire, report shows. Really!
- 61% of Black households in Altadena were located within the Eaton Fire perimeter, compared with 50% of non-Black households, according to a data brief from the UCLA Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies, the UCLA Center for Neighborhood Knowledge and the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute. Nearly half (48%) of Black households were destroyed or sustained major damage, compared with 37% experienced by non-Black households.
- 57% of Black homeowners in Altadena are older than age 65, and may be especially vulnerable to incomplete or insufficient insurance coverage or predatory financial scams as they navigate the process of rebuilding or restoring their homes.
- Rising property values and preexisting barriers to homeownership for Black buyers could prevent younger Black people from buying in the area and accelerate the decline of Altadena’s Black community.

What is multiracial?
Like multiracial democracy?
Skin color is perhaps the most irrelevant feature of human beings!
The pseudo intellectual obsession in Western countries by is obscene and horrible! It is a form of extremely primitive barbarism spread by ideologues, propagandists, and demagogues!
In the Medieval Ages we had superstition! The came the Age of Reason (aka as Enlightenment). Now we still have pseudo religions like racism, climate change, equity etc.
We are now living at the end of the first quarter of the 21st century! When will this kind of demagoguery finally end!
There is no place for such barbarism in a civil society!
