Alte Männer (hier Joe Kaeser 66 oder Helmut Kohl und Disaster Angela Merkel) und ihre Schwächen für junge oder jung aussehende Frauen! Über die Frau und ihre bisherigen Leistungen scheint auf dem Internet herzlich wenig bekannt. Auch der FAZ Artikel unten wusste nur wenig über sie zu berichten.

Der Sprung von Investor Relations zu CFO ist auch nicht alltäglich oder sehr gewöhnlich möchte ich mal so behaupten (Mea culpa im voraus).

Laut World Economic Forum scheint sie eine "diversity advocate"! (Siehe screen print unten)

Just read this German article about the pending merger of Siemens & Alstom: ZUGHERSTELLER : Fusion von Siemens und Alstom steht auf der Kippe.

What an ironic subject! It almost laser focuses on what is wrong with the European Union as far as economic policy is concerned:

1. Leading European politicians bemoan that their train manufacturers cannot compete with the largest Chinese manufacturer that is gaining market share around the world
2. The EU was unable to foster big European business (promoting business champions) and that bullet trains were a promising business model of the future

May I remind that train transportation is a very rigid and limited 19th century technology. From a 21st century perspective it is very questionable where trains still make sense whether short or long distance.

Germany has become more and more the country of tree huggers, bike riders, and vegetarians! Windmills and solar energy obsession have displaced common sense. Diesel powered cars, the environmental darlings of yesteryear, are now banned in German cities. All German nuclear power plants were abruptly shut off because of the Fukushima accident and so on ...

No wonder that Siemens (the German General Electric, but one of the 10 largest global software companies) decided to invest $500 million into state of the art development projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Egypt by 2020. Next follows Singapur.
