Houston's top 25 mega donors gave $350M in campaign cash over 25 years. Really!
Maybe they should be called them miniscule donors at roughly $600,000 on average per year and donor!
Don't they say everything is bigger in Texas? Maybe not these donors and their campaign donations!
Caution: Satire!

Stop the Mideast Money Fueling Campus Anti-Semitism
Recommendable!
"... Centers dedicated to the study of the Middle East, many receiving lavish foreign financial support, do more to promote anti-Zionist and pro-Hamas narratives than virtually any other force on campus. Even a small number of biased faculty can have an outsize influence because the dominant intersectional ideologies leave students primed to embrace anti-Semitic attitudes.
In effect, U.S. campuses have been importing anti-Semitic propaganda for almost 50 years. As the New York Times reported in 1978, “Oil wealth from the Middle East is starting to flow onto college and university campuses throughout the country, bringing a bonanza of endowed chairs and new programs.” That initial flood of money—and specific concerns about gifts to Georgetown University’s Center for Contemporary Arab Studies—led to the establishment of foreign gift-reporting requirements in 1986. ..."

Silicon Valley Bank And Their Investment Into Newsom Inc.
To mix money and politics, some politicians can not resist! One more reason why term limits for all elected politicians is a long overdue reform of democracy!
Not only could the senile and demented 46th President and his clan not resist, dimocratic California Governor Newsom and his wife are right behind!
"TEN KEY FACTS: UNDERSTANDING THE SILICON VALLEY BANK NEWSOM INC SCANDAL:
- SVB gave a $100,000 donation to the Newsom nonprofit, California Partners Project, in 2021.
- The $100,000 donation was "behested,” meaning it was solicited by the governor himself, Gavin Newsom, and the disclosure was forced by state ethics relations on state websites.
- The SVB investment banking president, John China, is a founding director at the Newsom nonprofit, California Partners Project.
- The Newsom nonprofit was founded in 2020 to expressly push Jennifer Siebel Newsom's public policy agenda at the Office of First Partner.
- Gavin Newsom established The Office of First Partner as a taxpayer funded subdivision of the Office of Governor so Jennifer Siebel Newsom could push her public policy issues.
- Taxpayers pay for nine staffers — $1 million per year for the Office of First Partner.
- The Newsom's first victory in tandem with their nonprofit, California Partners Project, was legislation which mandated gender quotas on corporate boards... the legislation was ruled discriminatory and tossed out by California courts after litigation by Judicial Watch.
- The investment banking arm of SVB helped finance THREE of the governor's private businesses!!
- In 2018, Newsom said he would NOT sell his private businesses and called them "my babies, my life, my family... I can't sell them."
- However, Newsom did sell interests in his businesses and presumably took home cash after SVB stepped in. All of this trading among insiders, friends, family, and acquittances needs scrutiny by regulators."

The 2020 U.S. general election cost a record $14 billion
As they say money talks! Money screamed during this general election for the Dimocratic Party! Money donated to the Dimocratic Party far outspent the GOP! Horrifying! Why is there such a deafening silence about and constant diversion from this subject? The American people deserve to learn more about this money influence!
The Biden campaign alone collected $1 billion compared to $600 million for Trump. Mind boggling! So much money was spent on a senile lifelong career politician candidate with obvious mental decline who is a proven pathological liar and a flip flopper with his radical left wing vice presidential candidate!
"... Total Democratic spending by candidates and aligned outside groups on the election to date is just shy of $7 billion, while Republican spending sits at "just" $3.8 billion. ... The report also noted that "Democrats have never had a financial advantage this large." ..."
"The total cost of the 2020 election will nearly reach an unprecedented $14 billion, making it the most expensive election in history and twice as expensive as the previous presidential election cycle. ...
Democratic candidates and groups have spent $6.9 billion, compared to $3.8 billion for Republicans. Democrats' spending falls to $5.5 billion when excluding spending by billionaire[s] ... Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer. ... Even when excluding the money spent by billionaire presidential candidates Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer, Democratic candidates and groups have spent $5.5 billion compared to Republicans’ $3.8 billion. You have to let this sink in, two billionaires alone spent $1.4 billion for Biden to win!
This is a shocking chart! Spending for Dimocrats almost drowned that for GOP!

On Brookings U.S. Billionaires Political Power Index
Posted: 9/6/2014
Is anyone surprised that the Koch brothers ended up at the top of this ranking of 20 billionaires?
Good that there are almost 500 billionaires in the U.S., so we do not depend on those 20 selected by the Brookings Institution.
Good that that the group of billionaires is not a static group. Billionaires come and go especially in the U.S. as long as our politicians do not ruin free markets and individual freedom and responsibility any further. A tall order in the age of President Obama and Senate leader Reid!
The ranking is most likely questionable. Just look at Rupert Murdoch who, according to Brookings, does not directly spend his money on elections etc., but he was ranked no. 6.
