After Nearly 50 Years, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fountainhead Home in MI Changes Hands and will become open to the public

Good news!

"... Robert Parker Adams, who died on July 3, did everything he could to make sure that his Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house in Jackson, Mississippi, ended up in the right hands. A preservation architect, Adams had owned the house, called Fountainhead, for nearly half a century (twice as long as its original owner, oil speculator J. Willis Hughes). ..."

How Frank Lloyd Wright’s Architecture Evolved Over 70 Years | Architectural Digest

Very recommendable! This video also mentions that his wife, Mamah Borthwick Cheney, and her two children, John and Martha Cheney, were tragically killed in a fire and axe attack at Taliesin in 1914. I don't remember I ever knew this about FLW although I consider myself quite familiar with his life and work.

Inside The Home Frank Lloyd Wright Designed For His Son - Gladys Wright house

Very recommendable! This building was saved by Chinese immigrants from demolition! My wife and I are big fans of Frank Lloyd Wright. And this house, which we have not visited yet, is in our neighborhood! It is near Camelback Mountain, Phoenix! Wow!

Frank Lloyd Wright: One of America's Greatest Architects

Very recommendable! I sure know a lot about Frank Lloyd Wright, his architecture and his life. Some of his most famous buildings I have visited like the Guggenheim Museum and Falling Waters. However, this video by e.g. emphasizing his Unitarian religious belief and by showcasing one of his earliest homes revealed something about FLW I did not already know about him.
This biography is strangely silent about what happened to FLW's first wife who he abandoned for another woman.
