There is little doubt that historically this industry is probably rougher than many other industries! She knew from the beginning what she was getting into!
Sounds like the typical narrative! A multi-million dollar lawsuit incentive!

Among the indignities she said she suffered working for the company formerly known as Schlumberger, Cheatham claims a colleague training her threatened to bend her over and “spank” her if she failed an assignment, adding, “And you’ll like it.”
The allegation is among dozens of such claims in a federal sexual harassment suit wrapping up this week in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. Cheatham, 36, claims in her multimillion-dollar lawsuit that SLB failed to shield her from rampant sexual harassment and retaliated against her when she reported it.
The case, being heard by a jury of five women and three men, offers rare insight into what women can endure while working in the male-dominated oil patch. [???] ..."
