Linus Torvalds is cautiously optimistic about bringing Rust into Linux kernel's next release

Seems to be some interesting news! I am not familiar with the Rust programming language, but a cursory look at it indicates this is a serious programming language to develop robust and safe software.

Could Linux one day be written in Rust (or similar language) instead of ancient C?

But the last few years have seen a growing momentum to make the Rust programming language Linux's second Linux language.
