University of California: More than 3.5 million vulnerable and marginalized LGBTQ students in the U.S. Really!

The figure of 3.5 million seems to be an awfully high number given that there only about 19.4 million students total (incl. part time students, college & universities). This suggest that almost ever 5th student is LGBTQ???

And of course all these 3.5 million students are vulnerable and marginalized! Such propaganda and demagoguery!

It gets better, UCLA also estimates that
"Over 1.6 million adults (ages 18 and older) and youth (ages 13 to 17) identify as transgender in the United States, or 0.6% of those ages 13 and older. ...
Among youth ages 13 to 17 in the U.S., 1.4% (about 300,000 youth) identify as transgender." or "Nearly one in five people who identify as transgender are ages 13-17."
"Our estimate of the number of youth who identify as transgender has doubled from our previous estimate."

As they say, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics! To inflate the numbers of those identifying as LGBTQ in such a manner is almost grotesque! Is that what the ideological term "inclusive" means?

"With the nation celebrating the 50th anniversary of the landmark civil rights law Title IX, the U.S. Department of Education today proposed significant changes to the law — changes researchers at UCLA’s Williams Institute hope will provide much-needed protections for more than 3.5 million vulnerable and marginalized LGBTQ students. ..."

Williams Institute research on LGBTQ students made strong case for Title IX changes | UCLA UCLA experts welcome Biden’s new proposals but say higher ed still has far to go to ensure students are protected

How Many Adults and Youth Identify as Transgender in the United States? Using data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, and advanced statistical modeling [???], this study estimates the population of adults and youth who identify as transgender nationally and in each of the 50 states, plus the District of Columbia. It also provides estimates regarding gender, age, and race/ethnicity.
