Finally, the very controversial and constitutionally indefensible 1973 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court has been overturned.
For almost 50 years, the U.S. had one of the most liberal abortion rights among all Western countries! Most Western countries impose significant restrictions on abortion that in many cases are reasonable compromises on this issue.
Finally, more federalism and devolution of power have triumphed in this matter!
What the U.S. Constitution guarantees is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! The controversial and divisive issue of abortion is best handled at the state level by the people in each state.
About one in five pregnancies in the U.S. are terminated by abortion. Way too many! As if abortion was another means of contraception!
