One of the curious human fads of our time! The daily fascination with certain people in our society is beyond normal!
Most western countries have removed most or all legal discrimination against homosexuality decades ago etc.!
Not a day passes and the public is still inundated with more news and coverage about this particular group of people!
Amazing tribalism and cultism! The enduring human proclivity for sectarianism through the ages! Over 2000 years ago, a small sect following Jesus was getting attention (Caution: This example has its limits, but there are some similarities).
In 50 or 100 years from now, people will look back and say what was this all about!
P.S. Should we not have e.g. a Pride Month for heterosexuals too? (This is just food for some thought. If homosexuals etc. want to celebrate that is up to them. If the general public or e.g. public schools are asked to celebrate as well then this becomes controversial.)
