US House Speaker’s visit to Taiwan moved to California over Chinese military concerns

Was this a wise decision to avoid any further tensions or any unnecessary provocation given the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war and with a senile and demented 46th President? Or was it kind of cowardice? I tend to agree with the former!
