The Iraq War of 2003 as distorted by dishonest Western intellectuals

On the 20 year anniversary of the Iraq War many reflections  are published in Western media!

Again, journalists and other are repeating that the claim of weapons of mass destruction were not found lie! Fact is that Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons in his war against Iran! Chemical weapons stands for the C in ABC weapons of mass destruction!

Again, these arm chair historians almost entirely omit or play down what a horrible and dangerous dictator Saddam Hussein was!

The enormity of the September 11, 2001 Attacks on American soil are systematically and intentionally downplayed! Thus, the Global War on Terror was born. To answer violence with violence is always problematic!

There is also little doubt that Saddam Hussein was aiding and abetting terrorists: E.g. "In 1993, the Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) directed and pursued an attempt to assassinate, through the use of a powerful car bomb, former U.S. President George Bush and the Emir of Kuwait. Kuwaiti authorities thwarted the terrorist plot and arrested 16 suspects, led by two Iraqi nationals." (see e.g. here (unfortunately this document is undated), here). Whether Saddam Hussein directly or indirectly supported the 9/11 terrorists is in dispute.

That Saddam Hussein also presented a threat to the gulf states is another frequently and conveniently downplayed fact!

Probably, the United States should not have invaded Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein from power! In hindsight, this has become very obvious!
