He and his co-defendant had 30 years to prove their innocence! That is a lot of time!
Had he and/or his co-defendant had a credible story, then it would have been fairly easy to get the support of plenty of attorneys and non profit organisations in the U.S.!
It appears, the lefty Houston Chronicle bought into these "calmly" claims of innocence at execution.
I have summarized my views on capital punishment here.
