International Women's Day: 8 Ukrainian Heroes Helping Bring Victory Closer

The bravery and tenacity in the defense of the Ukraine against the Russian invasion would not be possible without the tremendous support of Ukrainian women!

One of the women, a journalist in peace times, lost her finance at the beginning of the war and she is now soldier herself!

"... Anastasia Blyshchyk used to work as a successful TV journalist. On May 4, 2022, Olexander Makhov, her fiance, who defended Ukraine from the first day of the full-scale invasion, was killed at the front in the Kharkiv region. Three months after the death of her boyfriend, Anastasia became a serviceman and temporarily paused her work and life in the capital. ..."
