I think, we have been lucky so far that these fanatics have not caused some serious damage to the artworks! How will these protests affect e.g. insurance premiums etc.? What will it cost to protect the artworks from future attacks?
Only $1000 fine!!! This is a bad joke! Soft on crime is reckless and irresponsible! Some deterrence was in order here! The only good thing is that the fine was imposed quickly here!
