Not really! It can be managed by humans (possibly with the help of AI)!
Machine learning & AI is just another human made tool, however a much more powerful one!
The recent, reported case of a teenager who supposedly committed AI assisted suicide is extreme. How much was AI really involved? What was going on with this teenager? Would this teenager have committed suicide even without AI?
There is probably little doubt that more and more individuals (children and adults) will seek more often help, advice, comfort etc. from AI. Or they may even entrust/confide very personal matters with AI etc.
In the past, since the earliest humans, there was always the risk that an individual put too much trust or too much confidence in another person and suffered disappointment or other significant consequences etc. Why and how should it be different with AI?
There are still unresolved issues like privacy, non-disclosure, reporting to authorities, data retention, appropriateness of AI interaction etc. However, it is left to our human contemporaries and elected human representatives to solve them.
