Pardon me, I misspelled one word in the title of this article.
Given all the ongoing hysteria and alarmism about microplastics in the daily news coverage, maybe the Salk Institute should investigate.
However, there is a serious, sometimes even pathological, bias by many contemporaries (incl. scientists) against plastics, microplastics and so on going on for at least 6 decades or longer!
Maybe one day in the not too distant future my wild speculation here will be confirmed! If microplastics don't do it, try nanoplastics! 😊
