Macron & Scholz: Sharing technology is the best way to stop pandemics. Really!

Naivete is their forte! Incredible, Emanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz signed this opinion piece! It reeks of propaganda, alarmism and hysteria!

This piece was also co-signed by the controversial WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Olaf Scholz and TAG, what a couple!

Just share technology and everything will be all right!

"We know the next outbreak is a question of when, not if."
Global pandemics like Covid-19 are very rare! This basic underlying assumption is wrong!

"Inequity has plagued the responses to harmful pathogens."
This is their opening statement! Inequity is a vage, ideological term of the left!

"... Now, the central challenges are how ... counter the pervasive winds of misinformation that fan vaccine hesitancy. ..."
Covid-19 was a fairly harmless disease. No need for government mandates to get vaccinated, lockdowns etc.

"... An obvious lesson of this pandemic is that we must expand the local and regional production of vaccines and other essential health products in low- and middle-income countries. ..."
Sounds almost like good old European colonialism and paternalism!

Sharing technology is the best way to stop pandemics | The New Times | Rwanda Paul Kagame, President, Rwanda; Emmanuel Macron, President, France; Cyril Ramaphosa, President, South Africa; Macky Sall, President, Senegal; Olaf Scholz, Chancellor, Germany; and Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General, WHO.

"Investing collectively to ensure all regions of the world have state-of-the-art production infrastructure, trained personnel and institutional and regulatory arrangements is a valuable asset for our common health security."
Just arrogant and patronizing!
