It is very peculiar why not the huge university endowments in the U.S. are not paying or offering any student debt relief! It is a scandal!
According to Nancy Pelosi, the U.S. President does not even have the authority to order student debt relief!
If you look at the top 100 universities ranked by endowment in the U.S., the 100th university still has an endowment of almost $700 million (Source)
Besides, universities and their endowments also enjoy special tax privileges!
