Political corrections (not political correctness) are a hallmark of Western democracies. They are sometimes necessary and inevitable!
It appears the pendulum has been swinging this time from out of touch leftist lunacy and extremism back to more centrist or even rightist politicians. See e.g. Sweden, Italy.
On November 8th, we might see a crushing defeat of the Dimocratic Party in the U.S. mid-term elections at the local, state, and federal level.
