Good news! The fear of the peaceful use of nuclear power is largely irrational!
Until we have better alternatives, more nuclear power should be generated! Unreliable environmentally dubious renewable energy is not a solution! The world and its 8 billion human inhabitants need more cheap and dependable energy supply!
Latest technologies suggest very different nuclear power plants will be built in the future. E.g. smaller or more modular power plants, Thorium based etc. etc. I have blogged here about some of the advances.
