Semantic Scholar Annoyances

To be continued ...

3/3/2021: About a year ago or longer, S2 introduced author names with initialized first names. I suppose in the age of gender equality and political correctness this nonsense is no surprise. However, many authors have multiple author pages like Dacheng Tao (a highly cited professor from the University of Sydney), who has three author pages (https://www.semanticscholar.org/author/D.-Tao/143719920,
https://www.semanticscholar.org/author/D.-Tao/143719918, https://www.semanticscholar.org/author/Dacheng-Tao/145047838)
Of course, this screws up the overall citation count and paper count for those authors!
Further, it is usually much easier to recognize a familiar author if both the first name and last name are provided, otherwise you have to guess more. E.g. common Chinese last names like Chen are perfect examples!
