Very recommendable! Mr. Woodson tells several stories of the impressive successes of black Americans before 1965 (the beginning of President Johnson's War on Poverty).
Unfortunately, Mr. Woodson describes almost exclusively only success stories of segregated living black Americans. What is missing here are inspiring stories about black and white Americans jointly achieving better conditions, communities, businesses etc.. Yes, these stories also exist!
