Recommendable! Ever wondered why Greenland is actually called Greenland, which is today a snow and ice covered, largely uninhabited island? Well during the Medieval Warm Period (ca. 950 - 1250 AD) it was so warm that Greenland was a lush green paradise for agriculture that attracted the Vikings to settle there for several hundred years.
