Update 7/29/2021: I had a hunch that something was wrong with this police officer. Today, Greg Kelly exposed it: This officer may have strong political views, he compared the GOP to cancer (leftist?); he was wearing an unusual uniform on that day; he has neck Tattoos (unusual for police officers); he looked like an Antifa guy. Another witness U.S. Capitol police officer during that same congressional hearing even suggested that violence should be taken to former President Trump's home. Incredible, one of the GOP members (Mr. Adam Kinzinger) of the congressional committee even cried!

This Capitol Hill police officer's testimony strongly contradicts repeated claims that the January 6th protests were non violent!
He claims e.g.:
- He was severely beaten by protesters and taken to a hospital
- Protesters tried to steal his handgun and threatened to shoot him with his gun
- He was tased by protesters
- That he was not the only police officer combating with protesters
Is this police officer telling the truth? Is there any video footage to backup his claims (I believe there are thousands of surveillance cameras installed on Capitol Hill)?
