Bravo! This move is long overdue! Feminists and women's rights activists etc. prefer and enjoy the benefits of being equal to men, but when it comes to the duties that men historically have been assigned to not so much!
I believe, there were very few feminists who have advocated that women should also participate in military service like men. Most of these feminists are probably obscure and forgotten.
