Theoretically, we could remove any amount of CO2 from the atmosphere and be done with the Climate Change religion. All the alarmism and hysteria about Global Warming would come to an end!
One thing is for sure: Total global energy consumption will go up a lot further in coming decades given current trends and technology.
I bet we have the technology to do it already or it could be developed!
So why are we not doing more of it? Blame ideology, propaganda and demagoguery!
Instead we are being forced to use unreliable and intermittent euphemistically called clean energy, to buy combustible, highly subsidized and expensive electric vehicles, shut down nuclear and coal powered plants, demonize abundant and cheap fossil fuels etc. etc.
