Tel Aviv hosts a weeklong party to celebrate Brazil's 200th independence day

Let's celebrate! Let's dance!

What do Brazil and Israel have in common? Some of the most diverse populations and a propensity for good times.

"Brazilians are throwing a memorable party in Israel this week to celebrate the 200th anniversary of their independence, as well as the strong cultural ties between the two countries.
The event, called Casa Brasil, began on Sunday and will continue through Friday, features lectures, cultural presentations, a fashion show, a food festival and more. It’s being held at Hangar 11, a large event venue at Tel Aviv’s port, which is currently decked out in green and yellow, the colors of Brazil’s flag.  ..."
