The headline misses the point! We should be saying goodbye to government run public education! In the age of online learning there are fewer and fewer good reasons why government runs our public schools!

In 2016, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and NEA collectively gave $64 million in political contributions compared to only $11 million and $28 million by the Koch brothers and George Soros, respectively."
