Was this project not doomed to fail from the beginning when an authoritarian regime imposes religious tolerance on its mostly Muslim citizens with a $1.3 million gigantic prestige temple?
Perhaps, less glorious, lower profile measures would have been more successful to establish more religious freedom in Pakistan!
