"Fifteen U.S. colleges now carry sticker prices above $100,000 a year, up from just two last year, according to a new analysis of Princeton Review pricing data. Over four years, that’s nearly half a million dollars per student.
California’s Harvey Mudd College tops the list at $104,512, followed by Duke and the University of Chicago. Brown, Columbia, and Cornell each came in just under the six-figure mark.
In a separate ranking of financial return on investment, Harvey Mudd comes in 50th, and NYU, the 12th priciest, comes in 321st in ROI. New York’s public CUNY schools dominate the top spots for investment returns. ..."
