Hundreds of brave souls will run wild when the Bare Buns Desert Run returns Oct. 17 at Shangri La Ranch in New River. Billed as Arizona’s only nude run, the 5K race winds through desert trails, a dry wash and the ranch property. Clothing is optional, but tennis shoes are highly encouraged — along with avoiding any cactus along the race route.
