Incident: In May 2019, Alec McKinney and a second suspect fatally shot one student and injured eight others at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math School.
Identity: McKinney identified as a transgender male and was sentenced to life in prison.
2018: Aberdeen, Maryland
Incident: In September 2018, Snochia Moseley killed three people at a Rite Aid distribution center where she worked as a temporary employee.
Identity: Friends reported that Moseley had recently come out as a transgender male and started hormone therapy. "
