Why was she selected? She is the first female black and first openly LGBTQ WH Press Secretary! Before the WH, she worked for leftwing MoveOn.org. How much does qualifications matter if you are obsessed with such records? At least she is cute too. If you criticize her, it will immediately be labeled as racism and misogyny!
It was a very clever move by the handlers of the demented and senile 46th President to match him up with this Press Secretary. She is no challenge to the president.
Or was she selected, because more qualified candidates declined to become WH Press Secretary? Time might tell!
The good news is that the Dimocrats are running out of firsts!
