If you ever thought scientists are above politics, genuinely disinterested, impartial, and mostly rational in their approach, you may want to think again! It's a big myth! Of course, among these scientists were also social scientists (123 of 892 total) etc.
Human fallibility does not exempt scientists! Au contraire, their failures may even have more consequences for humanity! Too many scientists are not much unlike charlatans, except they have an academic degree!
Not only that many of these scientists, who participated in this poll, are are even believing in medieval superstitions like the Global Warming/Climate Change!
