Clearly, the fairly harmless coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has become a huge pretext for socialists of many countries to unite behind a takeover of government and subject the citizens to unnecessary misery and economic depression!
This shameless and ruthless exploitation by the left for their political purposes of the Covid-19 pandemic ought to be an enduring lesson to every citizen of the world!
For those who are not familiar with Hitler's Enabling Act of 1933 here is the Wikipedia article about it. Unfortunately, the English term is rather deceptive and misleading. In German this infamous law was referred to as the Ermächtigungsgesetz (my translation: empowerment law), formally titled Gesetz zur Behebung der Not von Volk und Reich ("Law to Remedy the Distress of People and Reich").
The eerie similarity of what the socialists of today are trying to do and what national socialist Hitler empowered is mind boggling!
