The Dark Ages With Waldemar Januszczak

Very recommendable!

Waldemar presents a number of very interesting points in his first part:
  1. Very early depictions of Jesus Christ showed him as young, attractive man without a beard, sometimes even feminine. Only several hundred years later was he painted like Zeus with a full beard and towering like a god on a throne
  2. There is a lot about the secret language of early Christians
  3. Early christian churches were home churches not basilicas or cathedrals
