China built bugged Government Offices in African Nations

If confirmed, I am not surprised! Hope, the citizens in the affected countries will quickly learn this lesson. Why don't the affected countries have China pay for the search and removal of any covert spying devices planted by China?

Guess what the former USSR did or Russia under former KGB officer Putin the Terrible is still doing when they get a chance?

Chinese companies have constructed or renovated (or both) at least 186 sensitive African government buildings; Chinese telecommunications firms have built at least 14 intra-governmental, “secure” telecommunications networks; and the Chinese government has gifted computers to at least 35 African governments. ... In January 2018, the French newspaper Le Monde reported that servers installed by the Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei in the African Union (AU) headquarters were daily uploading their content to servers based in Shanghai, China. ... In fact, at least 40 of Africa’s 54 countries have a government building constructed by a Chinese company [since 1966]. ..."
